The Newspress Awards 2019 for Automotive Journalism and Public Relations

Set to return for the fourth year and celebrating the achievements of automotive journalism and PR over the last 12 months, the Newspress Awards will take place on Thursday 28th March at the famous Quaglino's restaurant in London's West End.

In addition to top-secret entertainment, the evening will feature Newspress's new compere Roger Tilling, usually recognised for his work on University Challenge but is better known by millions of motorists as the voice on their sat nav systems.

At the heart of the industry

For more than four decades Newspress has been at the heart of the automotive industry connecting journalists and car companies; the Newspress Awards make these connections even stronger. These awards have the transparency and, with a respected panel of expert judges, the credibility to make them a recognised benchmark for quality and excellence in automotive journalism and public relations.

Details of how to enter the awards are detailed on this website, entries open on January 2, 2019 for material produced in 2018. Click on the 'Enter' tab at top of the page or one of the right-hand tabs for the categories. Both will take you to the entrant's page where you can scroll down for your required category(s). Closing date and time for entries is March 4 at 11.59pm.

Journalists and photographers do not need to be nominated they can simply enter themselves. They can choose whatever category they wish, but with only one entry per category. The Public Relations Awards will be determined by votes cast by Newspress registered journalists. In these categories the nominees with the most votes win.

Rewarding excellence

The winners of all the other categories will be chosen by our panel of expert judges. True excellence will be rewarded without bias or interference.
