Of the hundreds of emails Honest John receives daily, 35% are from female motorists who need help and advice.
“The emails I respond to from my female audience range enormously and cover every aspect of motoring from buying and selling, to garages and servicing and the practicalities of what to do in an emergency.” (Honest John)
Honest John has teamed up with a well know female motoring journalist operating under the alias of “Ultra Violet” to provide practical advice on what women want to know about when it comes to motoring.
The aim of the new section is to empower the female motorist by providing detailed factual and investigative editorial which will be hosted on www.honestjohn.co.uk.
The section will launch on Thursday 20th March including editorial on what to do in an accident, buying from a franchised dealer versus an independent and a series of ‘how to’ videos to help the female motorist with basic car maintenance.
“HonestJohn.co.uk provides the perfect environment for this kind of journalism. He’s a household name who people trust to provide them with honest straight up information. We hope to create an environment within the Ultra Violet column where female motorists can prepare themselves for any eventuality as well as encourage more women into our motoring forums where they will be able to gain from the expertise of our backroom regulars as well as contribute new and topical material.”
